The flexibility is great, but the uncertainty can be stressful... August has been one of those months 😅 I think it's the summer holiday low - no one wants to start something new on August 1st they want to lie on the beach with their families and enjoy the sun while it lasts.
While I wasn't on the beach during August, I put the work in marketing, updating my websites and investing in my business and the enquiries are starting to trickle back in...phew.
The perks though, for me at least outweigh the above. I never know what's going to pop into my inbox each day! From designing vibrant activewear patterns to creating girls' swimwear designs, every project brings something new and exciting.
The variety keeps my creativity on its toes. I love that I get to collaborate with different clients and bring their visions to life, no matter how wild or wonderful. It’s this unpredictability that makes freelancing so rewarding!
